    Biographie

    Originaire d'Écosse, Professeur Kenneth Deans est titulaire d'un baccalauréat en sciences et d'un PG en études commerciales. Tout en travaillant pour le groupe Pilkington sur la diffusion de l'innovation laser médicale, il a obtenu son doctorat. Il a passé plusieurs années à travailler avec de grandes entreprises telles que Aviation Corporation of America (AVCO), Scottish & Newcastle Breweries et Cadbury Schweppes, et a également dirigé sa propre start-up en ligne.   

    Toujours en lien étroit avec le monde de l'entreprise (il participe régulièrement à des séminaires professionnels), il enseigne depuis trente-sept ans le Marketing sur quatre continents. Il était Professeur à Excelia Business School, depuis 2014 et Directeur Adjoint de la Recherche depuis 2019. Il a pris sa retraite de l'emploi à temps plein en août 2020 lorsqu'il a été nommé professeur émérite. Cela lui permet de conserver formellement des liens de recherche et des intérêts avec Excelia et d'autres collaborateurs à travers le monde.  
     
    Ses travaux de recherche, en collaboration avec des chercheurs internationaux, ont abouti à 130 publications internationales dans des revues, des livres, des chapitres de livres et des actes de conférences à comité de lecture. Il a été directeur d'un département marketing de 30 personnes pendant 6 ans, a siégé à de nombreux comités d'écoles de commerce et d'universités et a été trésorier et président de l'Australian & New Zealand Marketing Academy (ANZMAC). Membre de plusieurs comités de rédaction de revues de marketing internationales, il reste membre du conseil d'administration de l'European Journal of Marketing, de l'Australasian Marketing Journal et du Journal of Internet Business.
