The Finance, Accounting, Cost Management and Information Systems Department invites applications for a full-time assistant or associate professor. The successful candidate will be:
- able to teach undergraduate and postgraduate level courses in Cost and Control Management
- conduct and publish top-quality research in peer reviewed journals and work effectively as part of a collaborative team. Experience in the use of blended learning for teaching is an advantage.
The position requires:
- a doctorate in Cost Management (or other related field) and fluency in English (the candidate will teach in English – French is not a requirement). The salary will be commensurate with the candidate´s experience and qualifications and in line with the Excelia Business School pay scale which includes incentives for research publications.
Applicants:
- will be required to contribute to the research profile, teaching and development of academic programmes at undergraduate and master’s level
- will be committed to excellence in teaching at all levels,
- have a demonstrable track record of high quality publications in internationally recognised journals
- will be expected to strengthen the department’s position through contributions to research leading to publication in international, peer-reviewed academic journals and in leading debate at national and international levels.
Candidates should submit a letter of application, a full curriculum vitae (including a description of teaching activities and current research in progress), one or two research papers, evidence of teaching effectiveness, copies of diplomas and at least 2 confidential letters of reference which must be forwarded directly to the School. We encourage candidates to describe their experience using a variety of teaching methods and curricular perspectives. The selection committee may ask candidates for supplementary information.
