    Biographie

    Surajit Bag est Professeur en Supply Chain Management à Excelia Business School. Il a une expérience d'enseignement en France, au Maroc, en Inde et en Afrique du Sud. Avant de passer au monde universitaire, Dr Bag a accumulé onze années d'expérience dans l'industrie, occupant des postes de direction dans d'éminentes entreprises manufacturières. Dr Bag a obtenu son doctorat en Operations Management de la prestigieuse école postuniversitaire de gestion de l'ingénierie de l'Université de Johannesburg, Afrique du Sud.

    Ses réalisations en recherche sont reconnues dans des revues à fort impact, notamment des publications classées FNEGE-1. Ses recherches portent principalement sur la durabilité de la chaîne d'approvisionnement, un domaine dans lequel ses travaux ont recueilli plus de 10 000 citations, selon Google Scholar. L'impact scientifique du Dr Bag a été reconnu par le prestigieux « AIMS-IRMA Young Management Researcher Award » en 2016. De plus, il a été inclus dans la liste des « 2 % des meilleurs scientifiques au monde », publiée en 2021, 2022, 2023 et 2024 et a été reconnu dans le classement Research.com 2024 des meilleurs chercheurs en business et management en France. De plus, le Dr Bag est Editeur Associé pour plusieurs revues de premier plan et a organisé des numéros spéciaux pour diverses publications universitaires. Le Dr Bag a supervisé avec succès cinq étudiants de DEA à l'Université de Johannesburg, les guidant tout au long de la rédaction de leur thèse et de leur publication dans des revues réputées. Il co-supervise également des doctorants d'Inde, d'Afrique du Sud et de Nouvelle-Zélande. Il a évalué douze thèses de doctorat et de DBA en Inde, en Afrique du Sud et en France.
